The Verrückt

Picture From Here

The Verruckt is a large water slide built in Kansas City, MO that most people think is up to 17 stories tall, but no one knows exactly how tall it is until May 23rd. On the water slide you will be going down a 5 stories hill at 65 mph. Whenever the Verrnuckt opens it will set a world record for the tallest water slide ever built by Jeff Henry a.k.a. The Wizard of Water. Jeff is called the Wizard of Water because he is a wizard of all things water fun. The Verrnuckt is as tall or taller than the Statue of Liberty or Niagara Falls. The Verrnuck is different from the Insano of Brazil because of the height difference. The Insano is about 14 stories tall, and the Verrnuckt is or might be 17 stories tall. I would not want to go on this ride because I am VERY afraid of heights. Also I have a huge fear of rides breaking, so at Six Flags and other theme parks, I have a very hard time with riding them. (Yet I've rode all of the rides at Six Flags St. Louis!)

  • At my moms house, we have a very extensive view of the woods.
  • When I was almost late to school my dad was hurtling down the road.
  • For the Halloween party, Bob illuminated his front yard with Christmas lights.
  • On the math test the whole class was mulling for the answer.
  • The herding dogs propelled the sheep to another field.
  • The new game at the arcade is radical.
  • When the yoga teacher is doing the salutation to the sun she is speculating.
  • When my cheer coaches give me a tumbling pass I surpass their expectations.
  • To fix his motorcycle, my dad welded the parts together.

Mini Windmills

Picture From Here

This paragraph is all about tiny windmills that can soon power our cell phones and if you buy lots and lots, you can power your home with them! The maker of this new invention is Jung-Chih Chiao. Measuring down to 1.8 millimeters that there widest point these tint windmills can easily fit 1000 inside your phone case. The windmills can hold up to very strong wind power, but the downside is the windmills could not charge a phone during an hour or more phone call, but they can keep the phone charged to send out a text that means life or death in some cases. The reason for this invention is the maker wanted to make an emergency phone charger that doesn't use solar power because the sun isn't out all day, but the wind is almost always blowing, day or night.

  • Because homes usually take so much power, it is arduous to power them.
  • When my cousin said he was tired, he asserted it.
  • I looked at the elephant and contemplated his large ears.
  • My new phone case is durable in different weather.
  • Before I rode the horse, I saw the coach harnessing him.
  • When the company made a new toy, they made sure they got a patent.
  • With his new prototype, he could go and make his toy a big seller.
  • At school my friend gave me two wafer snacks.
  • In the forest, animals can withstand lots of different weather and attacks.
