2nd Quarter

In second quarter technology I learned how to use excel spreadsheet and different thing about Microsoft Word. I enjoyed the word lessons because they taught me a lot about the program. I enjoyed making the picture in Excel but not the guide. I also enjoyed typing web that was a great learning tool, I can type MUCH faster and better now. The time typing tests was also fun and when we recorded them you can definitely see an improvement.

Christmas Drama

I love Christmas, everything is decorated and pretty. Everything is great but then comes the drama. Every family has it and so does mine. We've never canceled Christmas or anything but I have a few relatives that a few times a year is enough if you know what I'm saying. Lets look at the good side of Christmas we receive gifts and love.

U.S vs. Europe

I believe the U.S is correct and that everyone has the right to be special. My sister is "special" she has Down Syndrome and its hard to think that in Europe people that have family members with this are not excepted and that they immediately are sent to a mental institute, this applies to anyone who is different. Stop and think about it, if everyone was the same in the world this life would be so boring. Therefore there really is no ordinary.

Snow Days

It is going to snow and its sleeting. We really want a half day they got on the intercom and made an announcement we all got SOOOOO excited and then they said basketball was cancelled tonight nothing else. We are all depressed and sit on the edge of our chair waiting for the announcement every time the intercom goes off we hold our breath. Its 9 o'clock if its a half day we get out at 11:30 only a few ours left before we have to go all day, then as the intercom beeps we hold our breath.

7 Doors

I'm faced with a great challenge to choose between the doors, but I choose Wonderland a place with no worries. I can escape life, drama, reality, even if it is for a short time I accept it with great excitement. I find my self picturing me opening the door in my mind an escape from reality sounds way to good to be true I need to get away from all of it. Then I open my eyes and find my self in my room it was all a dream.

The Memory I Would Bottle

If there was an invention that could save any memory I would save the memory of winning our first play-off game. My volleyball team and I made play-offs this year. Play-offs is the end of season tournament where you play the best teams in the district. Our first game was Friday night against our rival St. Joe we crushed them 25 to 10 both games. That was an awesome feeling we high fived and jumped up and down. We ended up placing 5th overall after losing to a first division team, first division is the highest division. So that is the memory I would bottle.

Mrs. Debolt
1717 West Main Street
Festus, MO 63028

Dear Mrs. Debolt:

I play volleyball and my team is tied to go to playoffs with 1 game left of the season. I enjoy school for the most part. I'm in band and play Alto saxophone. You know my brother Jack Youmans in 8th grade he's odd, and my sister has down syndrome. I also REALLY want a new phone for Christmas that probably sounds spoiled but I've asked with no success for 3 years for every birthday and Christmas.

I have 3 aunts and 5 uncles 1 on my dads side but I haven't seen him in a long time since he lives in Cape. One of my other uncles only has 1 leg in result of smoking like a chimney. I do have a great family and am thankful for it always. My absolute best friend in the world is Alex Dolde I tell her everything and she tells me everything we didn't really have a choice to be friends or not. Our grand parents are best friends and so are our moms, even though we would have been best friends anyway.

My dad is a DBA so I have learned a lot about computers from him and have a lot of experience. We got my grandma a laptop so she didn't have to walk up the stairs, but every time she clicked on something wrong I'm at her house to fix it. Every time something is wrong with it my grandpa says when I had my computer none of this ever happened but he is talking about the computers that took up a whole room. I enjoy using computers and technology. I know more than my mom and sometimes my dad when it comes to phones.

Sincerely,
Audra Youmans

The Computer

I need you to get your moms computer out of the station on proves that someone else was planning to kill her before the accident. I tried to explain it to the cops but with my record they don't believe me, I probably wouldn't believe me either. I am very sorry that your aunt died, I honestly am, and I would take back what I did in a second but we must move forward and try to but it behind us.
I have been in prison before for crimes but this is the first time I have felt guilty. I didn't mean for it.

7 Doors Chapter 2

"Well hello! We've been waiting for you for a very long time now," the White Queen was so pale, she looked transparent in the white background of her castle.
"Who's 'we'?" I questioned. I turned back in a human and bowed to the queen. "And could you explain why I can shapeshift?"
Giggling she turned to me and smiled,"Why did you forget where you are? It's Wonderland anything could happen," she turned to face the hatter," Could you be a dear and get Alice, she's been waiting for this for a week."
"You mean I'm going to meet Alice?"
"Why wouldn't you dear? She's your sister after all," Giggling again she added," Even though you have brown hair and she has blonde your still related." How in the world is she my sister?! I'm an only child!I was snapped out of my thoughts when a girl roughly 18 with blonde hair and a white dress walked up with the hatter. "Dear sister! I've missed you much!" She ran up and hugged so tightly I though I would burst. "Oh! You probably don't remember me! You were little when I left! I'm Alice. The White Queen's personal guard. No could you remind me of your name?"
"I-It's Rachel," I stuttered. Grabbing me by the hand she beamed at the Queen, "I'm going to take Rachel for a tour."

As we walked I didn't pay much attention to what she was telling me, my mind was to busy racing. I don't have a sister! This has to be a dream. There's no way! When we finally stopped walking I almost ran into the door we were facing. "And this door... Is where the Jabberwokky is held. After I had cut it's head off it had somehow survived and now it is sealed away in this room. Don't ever open it," She turned to face me, her face was grim. Suddenly just like that she brightened up. Now we have a tea party to get to. Don't want to be late!"

Face in the Window Chapter 4 (Ending)

"No, no, no, no, no, NO! I REFUSE to let ANYMORE people fall victim to him ANYMORE!" I was screaming to this point, but it doesn't mater now. We had no leads, no clues, no motive, nothing! Me being the chief of police ALL the responsibility fall onto MY shoulders. This Jack the Ripper is insane. He calls himself 'The Star' for whatever reason. We think it's from the bible, but if it was, that would mean he's planning something big. 3 killings so far, I can't take it anymore. Getting up I walked home silently. I looked around, I was behind the pub, maybe I should go back..? Sighing I decided against it. Walking slowly I turned.

"Were do you think you're going? It's not safe at night anymore. Don't want the Star to get you."
I looked up at the hat and the trench coat. "Please p-please don't do this! I-I have a w-wife and f-f-family. P-p-p-please!" I couldn't breath. I felt around desperately for my gun. It was gone.
"Now now. Tisk tisk tisk. We can have you trying to harm me." Swinging my gun around on his finger he mocked me, "Now onto the fun." Using his free hand he slashed me across the chest. I fell back onto the stairs of the pub."If there's anything I know how to do, it's killing. If you slash in the right place, no matter how deep, the victim will slowly bleed out, and they can't make any noise. Blood will fill their throat if they don't choke on it then they will bleed out. Quite simple really," My vision is starting to fade. I can't see or breath the taste of iron is overwhelming, I'm going to die, that's it.

Jack the Ripper or 'The Star' had killed 4 people (possibly more) before suddenly dissapearing. To this day no one knows for sure why he did it or why he killed those people. His true identity is still uncertain.

Never Ending Story

Run, run, run, run RUN!
GAARRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! NO NO NO NO! Tripping I looked up at the horrifying beast hovering over me, teeth the size of long swords, but twice as deadly. Grinning its deep hallow voice rumbled, " YOU PETTY HUMAN, HAVE BROKEN THE FIRST RULE OF THIS REALM. NO YOU MUST PAY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!"
"No please no! It wasn't me! I was framed!" I shakily breathed," P-please hear me out! I-it wa-"
"NO YOUR CRIMES HAVE SAID ENOUGH! YOU WERE GIVEN ONE MORE CHANCE AT LIFE AND YOU BLEW IT! NOW DIE!" Not again. I live in a land where time never ends. If you die you come back. Its a never ending cycle. The one I'm forced to live. Now I get to flee again....

7 Doors

So many choices. Looking at the 7 doors infront of me I wondered witch one to chose. Wonder... Wonderland! I've always loved Wonderland now I can go! Wait. Wasn't it filled with strange creatures... If I go through it what will I be? I don't care, lets go. Stepping through the third door I was blinded by a bright light. Blinking I was noticed it teleported me to the White Queen's castle. In the kitchen to be exact. Yes! It worked! I'm really in Wonderland! Quickly spotting a mirror I looked in it. I look like my OC wolf Infinity. Weird. I thought I would still be human. The second I thought the word human I turned back to a human. Yelping in surprise, I fell backwards into the mad hatter. Yelping again I turned to a kitten and hid behind a pot. Laughing the hatter giggled, "You have no reason to be afraid, we have been expecting you, Rachel.
" H-how do you know my name?"
"Why wouldn't I?"
"Well lots of reasons. The main one being I've never seen you before in my life!"
Giggling he picked me up and patted my head. "Don't worry child all will be explained, but first you have someone very important to meet.

Face In the Window Chapter 3

"Ugh," The police chief from America dropped the news page feeling defeated. Mass Murder Jack The Ripper Still At Large. Stepping on the headline as the police chief got up he went back to her hotel. Quickly changing she fell on her bed exhausted from a long day of searching for anything that would get them closer. Thump.....

Thump..... THUMP.... Leaping to her feet she looked around wildly for the source of the thumping. The closet door opened slowly as the lights blacked out. Grabbing her gun from the night stand shakily. "Whoever's there show yourself!", she demanded.

"Hahaha......!"
"Hehehhehhehheh....!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"
Shaking now she noticed the silowet in the closest had a top hat and a trench coat. The same as Jack.
Thump...
He was gone. feeling warm breath on her neck, her scream was replaced with gurgling as warm liquid filled her throat. Collapsing she saw the gash across her stomach and chest. Laughing Jack dissected me.....

                          ---3 Days Later---
"Hello? Is anyone here?", The cop from London poked his head into the doorway.
"Your 3 days late. Lets go we have work to do," eyes widening he saw the horrific scene before him. Losing his lunch he called for backup.

To be continued.....?

Face in the Window Chapter 2 (Bell Ringer)

Looking up I filled with terror. The mass murder Jack the Ripper was in MY house with HIS razor shard knife. I looked around desperately for something I could use. I saw a tape measure- the rope kind- I was using to make a costume for my dog. My poor dog was in the corner terrified. I picked it up threateningly. Jack just laughed and said, "Is that really the best you can do. At least make this fun." Rolling his eyes he easily cut the tape measure in half laughing sadistically. This was it. I'm going to die. I closed my eyes tight waiting for my downfall......

Nothing..... I felt nothing.... Was I dead?

Face in the Window

I woke up to my dog barking crazily at the window. Still a bit groggy form sleeping I look out the window straight into the face of Jake the Ripper. Screaming bloody murder I ran into the windowless bathroom on the second floor. I check my pockets for my phone. I forgot it downstairs. I had no weapon, no way to call for help, nothing. I heard my dog yelp and I held back a sob. I held my breath as the stairs creaked. This was it. I was doomed. Accepting my fate I heard him say, "Come out come out wherever you are. You can't hide from the Star." I looked underneath the locked door directly at his shadow. I watched as he used his long slender knife to cut out the lock. He pushed the door open and I saw his long trench coat and top hat fill the doorway. Whimpering I shut my eyes tight, and waited for the pain.

I woke up with a start in my chair with my dog sleeping peacefully next to me. Drenched with sweat and panting hard I sighed in relief. I looked out the window in horror as I saw his face.

My nightmare just came true.........

Memory

Army_Strong_WP

If I could bottle a memory I would bottle my time I spent with my best friend Bryce. He went to the army as a helicopter pilot. I've only seen him once since he went away in 2007. I would bottle up the time in 2012 just before Christmas when I got to go to spend the day with him then eat dinner with him. I remember not being able to talk to him at all until then. On the morning of the day he came home my sister said she had a surprise for me. We met my mom in Arnold at Frakie Gieoneos, we got out and a dark blue truck pulled out. I thought the truck reminded me of something, but I couldn't remember. I watched as Bryce got out and I started crying because I was so happy. I ran over and hugged him and he said, "Whats up Ray Ray?" That is the memory I want to always remeber.

Random Drawings

Okay so I'm a part of a website called Deviant Art and I've been very behind lately, but I'm finally caught up! I just need to post! I'm hoping to post tonight at some point. I need to get on more often to answer questions and do art trades and commissions. I hope I can do another free style blog soon!

Then and Now

I think that over time as technology progressed events can be shared world wide in an instant with anyone. I think it's a good and bad thing. At that event in 2005 all the people attending were watching more carefully. In 2013 most of the people there where probably more worried about recording it right. Don't get me wrong I think it's great they can share it with everyone, but the people that are hosting the event should record it and not allow cell phones. People should still be able to bring cameras, but without flash.

Volleyball Practice

So at volleyball practice last Friday I swung weird during my overhanded serve. Well at first it hurt pretty bad, but I wasn't planing on letting my arm slow me down. Well that was a really bad idea. By the next practice I couldn't server overhand at all, I couldn't spike either without pain all throughout my arm. Turns out I sprained it. I've already sprained the same arm in 6th grade so I knew what it felt like. Very lucky for me it's a four day weekend and I can rest and not strain my arm too bad.

Letter From a Classmate

So yesterday I received a letter from an old classmate that used to bully me back in grade school. Well I thought he moved , but in the letter it said, "I know I've caused you a lot of grief, but there's something I need and only you can get it for me. Don't tell anyone about this."
I don't want to meet the guy because on the news last evening he was arrested for trying to rob a bank. I just don't want to get involved in something like this, I could get arrested or worse, but maybe he was innocent and the item is what will prove his innocence.
I think I'll write a letter back. Wish me luck. I'll need it.

Owner and Manager of Wendy's in Kansas
123 Wendy Lane
Topkia 8120

When I went to one of the Wendy's in Kansas we ordered a burger no cheese or onion. When we got it had cheese and onion that we asked to not get. So we went back up and told the manager the problem and asked for a new burger. The manager just sighed and said 'Fine.' When we got the burger back it had cheese, onion, lettuce, mustard, ketchup, mayo, and tomato. We told the problem again and had to repeat the process 4 more times before we finally got the correct burger. The manger and other employees we spoke to were really rude and never once said 'Sorry' or we'll take 10% off, they charged us twice the normal amount.

Sincerely Yours,

Rachel Cooper
